It is with great sadness that a proud Canadian and Hespelerite, B. “Ozzie” Osborne (b. 1952), passed away at the age of 68 in the Hospice at Freeport Hospital on May 10, 2021.

He is predeceased by his father Gordon Osborne and mother Barbara, and will be greatly missed by his loving family: Son (Bill), daughter (Kristy Osborne-Killoran), and beloved grandchildren (Jake, Kassy, Sophie, Chance, and William). He will also be missed by his many friends and co-workers with whom he always enjoyed spending time with.
He was employed at Butler Metal Products Inc. for the majority of his working life, and also moonlighted on the weekends as the “Wizard of Sound” DJ for many parties and special occasions. He loved to watch movies and hockey, ride motorcycles, go camping, fish, listen to music, and tend to his lawn and gardens. Those that knew and loved him will never forget his great sense of humour and passion for fairness and equity.
The family wishes to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and PSW’s for their wonderful care and patience over the past 10 years at Sunnyside.
A private family graveside service will be held, and a Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
