Passed away peacefully in her home after a short battle with Covid at the age of 94. Predeceased by her loving husband Joseph, parents John and Sarah Kelly, siblings; Rose, Ray, Jack and Anna.
Beloved Mother of John Cryan (Joy) of Georgetown and Ann Mckelvey (Tony) of Kitchener.
Lovingly remembered by her Grandchildren; Andrew, Colleen, David, Patrick and Great Grandson Riker.
She was loved and will be missed by all her family and friends from all over the world.
Mary was born on January 3, 1927 in Dumbarton Scotland. She arrived in Canada on Christmas day 1952 where she met the love of her life Joseph. They married in July 1957 and were married for 50 years. After retiring, they spent winters in Florida where they were very happy avoiding the cold winters. In the past few years she suffered from fall injuries and cancer, but she was determined to push through it all and overcame any obstacle that was put in her path. She loved writing letters, talking about the past experiences of her life and reading, in fact the week before she passed away she read a 400 page book in less than a week!. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, strength and determination and had an incredible memory right up to the end. Her strong Catholic faith carried her through any challenge and always gave her comfort. We would like to thank dearly all the PSWs that cared so kindly for our Mother over the past 5 years both in Cambridge and Kitchener. She loved sharing stories and songs with them. They truly were angels in our time of need.
