I have been thinking a lot about Uncle Bill stories and memories these last few days and there is so much I wish I could have thanked him for more, over the years. All the little things I didn't notice in the moment. Thank you for being the unofficial official taste tester, nut-free of course, on kitchen baking excursions on my weekend visits as a kid. Being my fishing buddy that fateful day that I caught the smallest possible fish at Mooselake lodge, that fell off the hook of my little mickey mouse fishing pole before I could get it into the boat. For helping me fulfill a childhood dream of having a colourful room, he handed 13 year old me a paint wheel when we moved into the family farmhouse and now every wall and ceiling is painted a different colour. To spinning me around to show off my prom dress when I first bought it and wanted to show it off, to encouraging me to step outside of my comfort zone to attend school away from home. He was always a constant support in my life
Those are just some of many, but what I am most thankful for and for what I could never thank you enough for, is for loving Auntie Jane so fully and completely. Uncle Bill your loss is felt by everyone who knew you. Your warm and generous smile could light up any room you walked into. I love you and miss you more than I could ever express in words. Goodbye for now, I love you.
