Obituary

Marion May Thompson (nee Price)
September 11 1933 - March 17 2019

Marion was predeceased by her parents Harold and Helen Price, her husband Curtis Thompson, her son Christopher Thompson and her beloved grandson Scott Thompson.
She is survived by her daughter Lee Brown (David), her sons Craig Thompson (Irene) and Phillip Thompson, her daughter-in-law Louise Thompson, her seven granddaughters Elizabeth, Beverly, Laura, Karen, Gillian, Jennifer and Kate and her one great grandson Liam. She will also be sadly missed by her sister Carol, sister-in-law Shirley, Judi Thompson and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Marion was born and raised in Toronto along with her siblings, Joe, Dan and Carol. She spent her early married life in the city, moving first to Newmarket and then to Etobicoke where she and Curt spent many years raising their four children.
After several years as a secretary at Douglas Aircraft, Marion returned to school to obtain her Diploma in Travel and Tourism at Humber College.
During her travel agent career she loved travelling the world and shared many of these adventures with Curt, even more so after his retirement.
Friends and relatives will be received at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge on Saturday, March 23rd from 12 noon until the time of the Memorial Service at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Lee, Craig, Phillip and families, my thoughts are with you all at this time. Aunt Marion was an incredible aunt who will always hold a piece of my heart. Even though many miles separated us, I will always remember the times we did have together, the bingo games, the laughs, etc. She was very much loved and will be missed by all. Love you always, Kelly
